For those who don't know us, we are a family of 4 who love traveling and going on adventures with our boys, in our Sprinter Van named "Ellie."
This was our very first time at a Jellystone Resort. We spent 3 nights at the Campground and here's how it went!
We arrived on a Thursday evening. It was pouring rain that evening, so we spent the entire time in the Sprinter Van. Which is a great excused for a little TV & cuddle/rest time!
Friday and Saturday the weather looked up for us, so that we could explore more of what Jellystone has to offer!!
They did not disappoint, as their was a ton of activities for us to do, for the time we were there! We enjoyed playing in the world's largest sand box, we did a hand painting craft, we also made some really cool Tie-die Shirts, We enjoyed riding in the back of the Jellystone Fire Truck, DC enjoyed the Jumping Pillow, Daniel really liked the 2 long slides, Daniel "played Gaga Ball," and the boys enjoyed the playset on the upper campground! It was kind of funny that Daniel fell asleep while being pushed on the swing, that was a first for us!
Family Photo on the BIG SWING!
Photo descriptions and details
The Boys really decided to try the nachos before making their new shirts!
The Boys really enjoyed fresh fruit!! So thankful we have a fridge in Ellie, we were able to stop at Meijer to get groceries before we arrived!
After the storm, the sky gave us a beautiful rainbow! :)
DC wanted to go everywhere but realized sometimes he had to wait for his family :-P
We bought some fire color changing packets, it's pretty neat to see all the beautiful different colors every night.
Daniel and Mama were having a GREAT time in the sandbox!
DC and Dada were also having fun hooking us up! :)
Our van Ellie!
Ellie hit a cool milestone- 356,000 miles! What else is cool about 56, it's one of my husbands racecar numbers!
DC enjoyed a ton of smores!!!
Not really sure what fruit this was on this tree but it was kind of cool, so I thought I would snag a photo of it. If you know what it is- please let us know! :) It didn't feel like a lime!
Everyday we passed this beautiful hibiscus tree at the campground. It reminded me of my mom, she loved hibiscus flowers!
Although the stay was brief, it was just about right for our 2 and 4 year olds. We didn't have a ton of time to explore everything, like the barrel rides, but we hope to come back again and checkout the new splashpad that was in the process of being constructed!
This trip, as most are, was a good little reset for us! Stay tuned for our next trip to......any guesses?
The Palmetto State!
